Wilber Portillo

It is with incredible sadness that we share with you that Wilber Portillo passed away overnight on Wednesday. Wilber had tested positive for COVID-19 and had been ill for several days. It was an unexpected loss for all of us, never did we think he would leave us so soon. However, his family will remember him by his uplifting and loving character.
We are creating this GoFundMe with the purpose to help his family give him the memorial service he deserves. As some of you know Wilber, was originally from El Salvador, where his parents reside. We hope to transport him back to his homeland with his parents.
On behalf of Wilbers family, we want you to remember him for the happy soul he was. His family and friends know that Wilber had a positive outlook on life. He wanted to do great things and I urge you to watch some of the videos he posted on Youtube, especially his interview. You can get a sense of what his purpose here in life was. We hope you take great lessons from his videos, as his purpose was to motivate others.
If there's anything we would like for you to remember Wilber by is, BE THE BEST YOU. This was his motto, be the best you, live life to the fullest. We also hope to seek awareness that COVID-19 is to be taken serious. No matter how young or healthy you may seem. Please stay at home as much as you can unless its for essential needs.
Any donations are greatly appreciated.
Be the best you,
Wilbers Family
