Wilber's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On behalf of our dear friend and co-worker, Wilber De Leon, we are starting this GoFundMe page to help support his recovery. Wilber suffered a traumatic accident while mountain biking causing severe damage to his face, skull, and neck.
He was transported via Tramua Hawk from Johnathon Dickinson State Park to St. Mary's Intensive Care Unit. His brain is currently being monitored closely and he will undergo facial reconstructive surgery after the swelling subsides.
Wilber is an avid cyclist and frequents these trails. "We always ride with caution and put safety first," says close friend and co-worker Angelo. Everyone that knows Wilber will tell you that he is a genuine and kind soul. His smile will light up any room he walks into. He always has a positive attitude and is the hardest working person I know.
Unfortunately, there is no way to tell if or when he will be able to come back to work and his medical expenses continue to rise. And as we can all relate, bills don't disappear when we experience an unexpected downturn in life.
Please donate and support Wilber on his road to recovery! Any and all donations are immensely appreciated! If you know others that can help be sure to share this page with them! The President of Calaveras Cantina, Curtis Peery, will be withdrawing the money from this campaign and combining it with the money raised at the restaurant fundraiser we are hosting for Wilbur on July 11th. All funds will be given to Wilbur to assist him in his road to recovery!
Thank you!!
