Wild Bird of Prey Rescue, please help us!

Hi everyone, we have held off for as long as we can but now it has become increasingly more difficult to fund the rescue of these amazing birds. We have been rescuing for nearly 20 years now and if it wasn't for the amazing support we have received from the public in donations, we would have stopped years ago.

We have rescued 25 birds just this year and it is now having a negative financial effect on Sharandys as we just can't afford it anymore. Some years it has costs us £5000 for rescuing more than 40 birds, we are very lucky to have a vet that does not charge us for consultation but, we have to pay for everything else, this doesn't include fuel to collect these birds.

It has not come to the point where we are either going to have to stop rescuing because of the effect it is having on Sharandys and us, or we are in danger of losing that too. This is how bad it has got now. We just can't afford to do it anymore, we have tried so hard to get help with funding but we are not getting any luck. So although the amount that we are asking is really high, this is what it will cost in the next 24 months to continue rescuing. Please help us if you can, Sharon can't say no to a rescue but the effects are starting to show.

Without a pot of funds to be there for when we need it we are going to seriously consider stopping. That is heartbreaking for us, as many of you know we will do anything for birds of prey, but now we seriously need your help, please, thank you, Sharon and Matt x
