In addition to their tortoise work, they are also heavily involved in the local community, educating folks about conservation initiatives and the importance of various ecosystems.

The Preserve's outreach events reach between 10,000-15,000 people a year.
Ashton also works with private land owners educating them on ways to improve their property for wildlife, and help get land protected for land owners that want their property protected after the land owner has passed.

Donations will help them continue to do great work, and contribute to additions to the preserve--like a set of solar panels!
There are nearly 20,000 of us now, let's change the world!
