Wildfire - Brett & Bailey Cummings

Hi, we're Charlie & Angela McKey. We live in the Borger area of Texas, near Fritch & Stinnett. The wildfires that took place on February 27, 2024 in the Texas Panhandle tragically affected so many people’s lives with loss of homes, belongings, livestock and unfortunately loss of life too. There’s many families in need in our community so this is a hard request to make, however our nephew’s sweet family (Brett & Bailey Cummings and their three children, ages 5, 8 & 10) lost their home in the Windy Deuce wildfire that took place in Fritch in the Sage Mesa area.

Brett has been a volunteer firefighter for many years (a passion of his) and was working the very fire that took their home. Many are asking what they can do (which we’re so grateful), so I thought I’d set up this gofundme to help them. They do not have insurance so we know ANY amount donated would be greatly appreciated. All funds will be given to Brett’s family to help them rebuild their lives. Above all, we ask for prayers of comfort, strength and provision for them and all of the other families affected.
