Wildfire relief for Jose Trinidad Rincon and Maria Rincon

Hello everyone, my name is Cristina Rincon and my father, Jose Trinidad Rincon, along with my family, has faced a devastating loss: their home. A wildfire that broke out in Eaton Canyon on the night of January 7, 2025, destroyed the home I was raised in, reducing it to ashes.

In our family home lived my father, my sister Maria Rincon with her seven-year-old son, my grandfather who is 93 years old and has multiple medical conditions, and my aunt who was the primary caregiver for my grandfather. My father recently rehoused my grandpa from his country to our home here in Altadena, California, due to his age and medical concerns. now my family is currently homeless and distraught with this tragedy.

My father not only lost his home but everything that he has worked so hard for. He came to this country with absolutely nothing and worked tirelessly to give us an amazing family home. He lost all of his work trucks and all the material and tools that he needs to use daily to pay for the beautiful home that once stood there.

To say the least, my dad is so humble and helpful to all those around him, and anyone who knows him will vouch for this. He always opened his home to family and friends, and now all that is gone. This man is the best father and grandpa anyone can ask for. He did everything for those around him.

I understand that these are hard times and a lot of people around us and the community are also suffering from losses, but if you can find it in your heart to donate anything or even just share this, it would be greatly appreciated.
