Wildfire Relief for the Family of Morenike Balogun

Our dear Los Angeles-based friends have been deeply impacted by the ongoing Palisades fire. All are physically healthy but much was lost. After evacuating with her husband, Arno, and two young children, Felix (6) and Lara (3), Morenike lost her home and all her possessions to the fire.

The devastation these fires have wrought is truly unimaginable, and we stand here asking for assistance for our sweet friend. An amazingly talented writer, her family is still recovering from the career interruption of last year's Hollywood writers' strike. Now to be displaced and left with only what they could carry is a cruel and heartbreaking twist. Their home was more than a house, Morenike worked to carve out amazing spaces for the kids, like a space-themed nook, a cozy blanket-filled closet, Felix's dinosaur room and Lara's beautiful canopy bed. This wonderful and kind family has nothing but the memory of their once beautiful home.

The fires have impacted so many, but we ask that you please donate whatever you are willing and able. Morenike and her family will be forever grateful.
