We are Nadia, Katie, Deann, and three cats
who have lost the home we shared
to the wildfires in Talent, Oregon. We were able to save our three cats and a couple of bags of clothes before fleeing with a neighbor, barely getting out in time. Traffic was crawling too close for comfort to the fire, which looked like a wall of flames. We were grateful to take shelter with family, but were heartbroken to learn that our house and everything in it was now ash. We aren't sure if our insurance is going to come through. We lost art supplies, baking supplies, and a huge glass collection. These were all things we depended on to bring in extra income. We would greatly appreciate anything as we try to pick ourselves up and rebuild our lives.
