Wildland Firefighters truck and gear stolen
Donation protected
Jerremy is on his 5th Wildland Fire season and spent 9 years in the military. His truck was parked at the Denver airport while he was visiting family before heading off to Oregon to start the fire season. He works in fire year round and keeps all his belongings in his truck. When he returned to the airport, his truck was gone. After talking with the police and
airport security, they confirmed it was stolen.
Inside his truck was not only his personal items
such as clothes, shoes, his laptop and kindle, but also all of his fire gear including his fire boots.
It was reported to insurance but they are unwilling to cover the truck or any belongings. Most
importantly we are trying to replace the fire boots along with all fire gear that was inside the truck so that Jerremy can still go out and work this
summer as planned. Anything helps, thank you.
