REGI Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic

Tax deductible
Raptor Education Group, Inc. (REGI), located in Antigo, WI, will build a new Wildlife Rehabilitation Clinic in Fall 2018. While known for our work with Bald eagles, Trumpeter swans, loons, and endangered species, we care for 800-900 bird patients annually. The new Clinic will include rooms for patient examinations, separate housing for different bird species, a quarantine room, a separate space for food preparation, and an x-ray room. Those of you that have seen photos of our current clinic know the need is great.

The new Clinic will cost $175,000. We hope our many friends will help us meet our GoFundMe goal of $75,000.

Mission:
Raptor Education Group, Inc is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured or orphaned native bird species and public education of wildlife issues.

We have three goals:
1. To create a safe haven for injured wildlife while they heal and until they are ready to be released back into the wild.
2. To develop nutritional protocol, rehabilitation methods and husbandry based on the natural history of the bird to assure a successful release.
3. To create a broader understanding of native birds, their behavior and habitat needs among the public and the scientific community.

Raptor Education Group, Inc. focuses on both wildlife rehabilitation and public education. REGI cares for sick, injured, or orphaned wild birds. The goal with any bird patient is to release them back into the wild once they are 100% recovered. Through our education programs, REGI teaches people of all ages about birds, the environment, and what they are able to do to help with environmental issues. We also teach and provide internships for wildlife students and professionals, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Geographic area served
Raptor Education Group, Inc. accepts patients from the midwest and throughout the U.S when needed/requested.
