It is with a heavy heart that we announce Wilfred's passing. Friday the 4th, ~11:30PM he suffered a massive brain bleed, leading to a stroke. Sunday, October 6th he was announced as neurologically deceased, meaning there is no chance of recovery. Wilfred was a beloved father to family and a big brother to the car community. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to support the Yu family. Above all else, Wilfred will be remembered for his personality and pureness.

On Friday, Desmond, age 18 found his father, Wilfred laying unresponsive and suffering from a stroke in his house. After several long hours, heartbreaking news was shared; Wilfred had suffered a brain bleed, and was unlikely to recover, 24 hours later, it was announced that he was neurologically deceased, or "braindead". This event coming just a year after Desmond's mother, and Wilfred's wife, Susan passed from Cancer, as well as having a stroke. Desmond is a resilient and bright child, who has shown incredible strength in the face of loss. After losing Susan in 2023, Desmond formed an even stronger bond with Wilfred, who was treated more as a friend than a parent. Now Desmond faces the unimaginable pain of being left without either parents.

Both parents worked hard so that Desmond could live a spoiled life, early in Desmond's life, Susan began working fulltime so Wilfred could become an entrepeneur. Once Wilfred's work began to pick up, Susan would take on a part time role, so she could take care of Desmond. With Wilfred's spare time, he loved to give back, he would spent time in Enviromental groups, Groups dedicated to raising awareness for sickness such as Sick kids, or for Diabetes, he himself being diagnosed as a type 2 diabetic. Wilfred was a wonderful father who cared deeply for his son's future. His greatest hope was for Desmond to have access to quality education and the opportunities to pursue his dreams. To honor his memory, we have setup this fund as an educational trust for Desmond.

Why support is needed:

Funds will go to the Yu family in their recovery process. We are raising funds to help provide Desmond with the stability and support he needs during this difficult time. The donations will go towards covering funeral expenses, expenses to ensure a peaceful passing to the afterlife for Wilfred, housing, educational costs, therapy, daily living, etc, to ensure that Desmond has a secure feature, facing so many questions. Your contribution, big or small will go directly toward securing Desmond's education and security, helping him build a bright future as his father invisioned.
