Will Garton & Family

My name is Jennifer Hill and I have spent a while thinking about this and trying to figure out what to say to request money to help my friend’s family.

Will has helped so many people over the years and has been a part of our community for a long time. Some of you may know him as a friend, others as their mechanic. I know Will as both. I have known Will & Jamie for 17 years and Jamie and I became fast friends as our children became friends.

Jamie called me recently and cried as she told me the news that Will has cancer. We learned that the cancer has metastasized and Will does not have a lot of time. During all this news Will also lost 3 more toes and had to be hospitalized for that procedure. Will is no longer able to run his mechanic shop or support his family and Jamie can not work while caring for Will at home.

This family will need financial assistance for a lot of things in the next four months to a year. They will need help paying hospital & doctor bills, regular monthly household bills, and food. One thing Will said he wanted to do was “take one last fishing trip”. While this may be difficult physically, I pray he is able to go.
