Will Meredith needs a handicap accessible vehicle

Hi everyone! I'm Lorenzo and I'm starting this GoFundMe for Will Meredith, an extremely talented Chef and Artist, so he can get his truck repaired and modified to be handicap accessible. He is an extremely important part of my family and being able to drive again would be HUGE for him!

I'd like to tell you a little bit about who Will is and what he has been through.

Will Meredith is an accomplished professional Chef with over 20 years of experience, having served as the executive chef and kitchen manager for multiple establishments, as a caterer for the Denver Broncos, and as the owner of a catering business. Will is also an amazing visual artist who can produce stunning realistic portraits. At the end of the day, Will expresses his love for his family and community through his art, whether it be culinary or visual. For my birthdays, graduations, and family holidays, Will gladly spends all day and night preparing a gargantuan feast for everyone to enjoy; when my grandparents passed away, he created a portrait of their wedding day for my family; when another member of our family passed suddenly, he again created a portrait to commemorate them. It's just what Will does, he cares for his family.

In 2018, Will was in a major car wreck that resulted in the loss of his vehicle and a foot injury that led to an aggressive infection. Will was in and out of the hospital and unable to work, drive, paint, or cook. Being a lifelong diabetic, the healing process was slow and painful and ultimately resulted in a below-the-knee amputation of his right leg.

After the amputation of his right leg, Will graciously received his new prosthetic leg from a wonderful Non-Profit called Limbs for Life. Since then, Will has been diligently adapting to his new life and, slowly but surely, getting back to the things he loves the most: cooking, painting, and being with his family. Watching Will gracefully navigate this enormous change in his life has been truly inspiring, as he never once put himself before the needs of his family. He gives all of himself to who and what he loves.

Will is anxious to get back to the workforce, so we want to help him regain the final puzzle piece to his independence: a vehicle that he can drive safely and effectively. Any contribution helps!
