Fundraiser for Will Nugent

On August 14 Will Nugent was diagnosed with cancer in the lung and brain. This news means that Will has had to make the difficult decision to permanently close his business and focus entirely on his treatment and battling this terrible disease.

For the last 7 years, Will has brought joy to locals and tourists who have joined his fun and energetic tours of the River Suir. Like many small local business owners, Will has put everything into building this business and supporting his customers. The closure comes right at the beginning of peak season and a time where 90% of annual revenue would have been earned.

This fundraiser is to support Will with funds that can replace a portion of the lost income from Suirvalley Adventures. Funds that can be used to support every day living, groceries, fuel, travel to and from treatment and maybe even for some fun and adventure. With Will's focus now on treatment, our focus is now on ensuring that he enjoys the highest quality of life possible during this difficult time. We want to create lasting memories, comfort and alleviate financial burden.

We are extremely grateful for the incredible support and generosity of our friends and family. The path ahead is unclear at this point but we move forward with positivity and relentless optimism.
