Will you be a Special Friend of Pronto Bronto?

We’re Kenny, Angelica, and Andrew and we’re excited to introduce Pronto Bronto to the Grand Valley in Spring 2023!

Pronto Bronto serves far-out fast food with a focus on nostalgic burger-stand fare and intentionally radical vegetarian options. In June 2023, our service window will open at 123 N Peach Street, Fruita in the empty lot next door to Bestslope Coffee Company. With the support of Hot Tomato and Bestlope, this will be our permanent location for 2023 with plans to scale into a larger, more permanent structure over the next few years.

So far, we’ve managed to self-finance the purchase of the trailer and renovations. The three of us plan on being the only employees for 2023 and will work at Pronto Bronto while still holding our day jobs through the rest of the season. As locals, creatives, and food industry professionals, we’ve got big plans to build an inviting community hangout that serves up fun, expertly executed, accessible food.

But first, we need a little help.

In order for us to get our retail license, Mesa County requires us to have a fire suppression system installed on our hood if we cook with grease - and we’re going to be good and greasy! The fire suppression system install quote is $6240.08, plus the additional labor hours for a plumber and electrician. We’re able to pay for part of the system, but are hoping to raise the remaining $5000 to go towards the fire suppression system and other startup costs.
