Reuniting with my son Zach after 7 years apart!

Hi, my name is Will Johnson, and I’m reuniting with my son Zach Johnson after 7 years apart. He’s now 12 years old, lives full time in the UK, and is spending 3 weeks with me in Texas this summer. I am so over the moon and want to give him the best time of his life when he comes to visit!

I have been saving for over a year, but I am reaching out to the world to help me give my son the best experience I can whilst he is here. I would love to take him to Universal to the Harry Potter train. It would blow his mind!!

More about me: I used to live in the UK. But after the loss of my father and going through some rough years, I decided to move to the US for my own mental health. Except for one four-day visit where I went back to check on my ill grandfather, I have not physically spent time my son or family for 6 years. I’m established now in the US and decided to worked with my son’s mum to have him for his school break in 2024. This is the longest time we’ll have together since I left the UK. I’ll be flying to pick him up, bringing him to the states, and doing the same to drop him off at the end of the trip.

Update 1/11/24:

I have paid for all the plane tickets and passports from my own savings. Let's see if we can get some spending money for Zach whilst he's here! Thanks everyone that's helped Zach and I so far!

Update 5/20/24:

My cat (Kit Kat) had to have emergency surgery, so that’s slowed down my personal savings for Zach’s trip. Would appreciate any help! Thank you!
