William B. Smaltz Funeral Services Fundraiser

Bill (Papa) Smaltz unexpectedly passed away from complications after a fall at home. He leaves behind his loving wife Noreen (Reeny) and their four sons Billy, Daniel, Rob, and Scott. In addition, five wonderful grandchildren lost their beloved Papa; Billy, Declan, Kellan, Kenley, and Adeline. Bill was a devoted father with deep rooted faith and a strong belief in humanity. He was ordained a Catholic priest in 1956 and dedicated the first half of his life to God and to helping others. Bill went on to start a family of his own after being granted a dispensation from Pope Paul VI. His love for his family and their friends was well known and everyone who met him felt his kindness and compassion. He lived a modest life and worked in various capacities continuing to give back to the community. Bill spearheaded various youth and alcohol awareness programs and ultimately found solace in becoming the administrator of multiple nursing homes in the area. He was an avid sports fan and always enjoyed watching multiple sporting events in the presence of his family. His soulmate Reeny is heartbroken by losing the love of her life. However, she now finds peace in knowing that her husband has  returned to be by God's side and will be watching over all of us with the grace and compassion in which he lived by. Any offerings are deeply appreciated and will go directly towards covering the costs of his funeral services. The Smaltz Family is eternally grateful for any contributions made in his name.
