William Blathras' Eagle Scout Project
Donation protected
Hello, I am Billy Blathras,
My 12 years in Scouts are coming to an end and I am really excited to share my Eagle Scout project with you. Working together, we can brighten the day of 100 brain tumor patients! I created my Eagle Scout project to honor a man who is very special to me, even though I never met him, my grandfather, George Kamberos.
In memory of my grandfather, I decided to help others who are currently battling brain tumors With your help, I would like to honor his memory and celebrate his generous spirit by raising money and creating care packages for brain tumor patients receiving care at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to purchase backpacks, water bottles, masks, decks of cards, chapstick, and ear plugs. Also in the care package is information to help support patients and their families donated by the American Brain Tumor Association. All money raised in addition to the cost of items for the care packages will directly profit UIC Hospital and their patients.
I can’t wait to see what we can do together to help bring comfort to patients in need while raising the awareness of brain tumors!
I hope to complete this fundraiser on October 30th and deliver the packages on November 14th.
Please contact me [email redacted] if you have any questions.
Thank you!
