William Bryant Living with Alzhemiers disease.

My name is Mary Bryant I am my husband's full-time Caregiver. Caregiving for someone is an act of love, but at the same time very stressful and confining. Every day is filled with hands on assistance with meals, Bathing, dressing, and frequent Dr. appointments. My to do list is never ending.The challenge that we are experiencing now is getting in and out of the shower safely without slipping and falling. William needs to get in and out of the shower without struggle and leaning on me for support; he is 6'2 and I am 5'5. The VA is providing some assistance and a safety assessment has been made at our home, it's been determined that a simple walk in shower with grab bars is needed to prevent any future falls or injuries to myself or other caregivers. William requires 24 hour care, and I have been his full-time Caregiver with very little assistance for almost 2 years. I have only been able to focus on my business part-time, and that's reactive and not pro-active. The purpose of our fundraiser is to finance a necessary project of a walk in shower for William. William has fallen recently, and hospitalized for several days. Removing and Replacing one tub shower will be a safety feature from future falls and injury. We have three estimates as required by the VA. I am asking family, Friends and Associates to prayfully consider supporting my husband who is disabled by the Alzhemiers disease. There is some good news. I have been blessed with a sitter for two 2 days a week for 5 hours a day, and 2 full days of adult daycare, this was an eight month process.
