William Ernest Hall

Some of you know him as William, some as Ernie, others as stubborn. To us, he was husband, daddy, and our hero.
On July 21st 2018 our lives were changed forever. We tragically lost the man that we loved so very much. It was unexpected to say the least and more difficult than we could have ever imagined.
Ernie was 52 years of age. A husband for 33 years to the woman he loved with all of his heart and had devoted his life to. A father of 4 girls who were his "babies" no matter their age, and 3 grandsons who were his pride and joy, even the one that had not yet arrived. He had many people that he cared for but family came above all. He strived to instill in his daughters that family should always come first and no matter what differences you may have, at the end of the day, you better be there for one another.
He was a selfless man. No matter what time of day, what situation you were in, if you called for help, he was there. He knew how to do just about anything too. His hobbies were working in his shed, going to the beach, swimming in the pool with his wife, playing with his grandsons, and using his sarcastic humor to make others laugh. There was always something about him that made you feel safe in his presence, something you just couldn't explain.
The memories of him will live on, as he is not an easy man to forget. He is extremely loved and deeply missed. No words could ever explain just how truly amazing this man has been.
The donations recieved will be used to help with funeral/memorial expenses as well as bills for our mother. Dad always made sure that she never had to work, even if that meant he had to work 2 or more jobs. We would like to make sure that she does not have to feel any burden of any expenses for a long time. He would want her to be taken care of.
On behalf of my mom, my sisters and myself, thank you for what you are able to give. Daddy always told us to make sure that no matter what happened to him, that we take care of our mom as well as one another.
❤Forever on our mind and always in our hearts. We love you, daddy
Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Umatilla on Monday July 30th at 1pm, fellowship following.
