William & Estella’s Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Ariel Grosbeier and I’m fundraising for my oldest brother William Sutrick. He has recently been diagnosed with MS, a disease in which the immune system eats away at the protective covering of nerves.

In MS, resulting nerve damage disrupts communication between the brain and the body. At the beginning of July, his symptoms from MS became extreme. When they did his MRI, they found a hole in his heart. He did recently do the heart procedure and it went well! But they had also found from his MRIs a complex pineocytoma tumor with a complex pineal cyst. Pineocytoma is a tumor of the pineal gland, a small organ in the brain that makes melatonin (a sleep-regulating hormone). He now is going back and forth from his home in Denmark to Madison for treatments and tests. Right now his doctor is trying all tests and treatments before surgery. There is low outcome of this surgery being positive. It’s a very strategic and long surgery. In which, if the doctor in Madison seems it more beneficial for William, he will be flown to Arizona to have the surgery. The hospital there has better equipment and facilities to help him recover if the surgery would go the way we want it to!

 But along with going back and forth to Madison they are also going back and forth to the Children’s Hospital for his daughter Estella.She has oral/facial digital syndrome and joubert syndrome with cleft palate. She is the first ever to have these syndromes. She has special braces to help her walk, along with her walker. She will be having surgery on her ears as well soon. William is her main care giver, and due to his own recent medical conditions this makes it’s hard for his family. He lost his 2 jobs in the last couple weeks due to these circumstances. Traveling back and forth for all their appointments is making things harder for them to afford everything properly. Please help us, help them!
