William Lucas and his Achy Breaky Heart Valve

Hi,

Very recently one of my dearest friends and husband of my best friend, father of three, IT professional, Pokemon enthusiast, world's most daddest dad with the best nerd tattoos in all of the land was diagnosed with aortic valve regurgitation. We originally thought this was no big deal, but it was come to light that this lovely, selfless and kind THIRTY ONE year old has the heart functioning of a SEVENTY FIVE year old. More tests are still to come but in the meantime, my absolute best friend/ for all intents and purposes, sister, and his wife, Stephanie Lucas is holding down the fort with their two children, Eleanor Lucas (8) and Tyler Lucas (7), as well as Ryn Lucas (17), his sister who lives with them full-time. Being that this was a completed unexpected life event and medical emergency and this family of five including their many animals, including but not limited to, two hound dogs, two cats, and an assortment of chickens, it is needless to say that this is a full house and the patriarchial loss is substantial. It will be necessary for William Lucas to undergo open heart surgery to replace this complete slacker of a valve that is absolutely not doing its job. To describe for you what is going on, this hulking 6'1 man has a heart that at this point in time does not even sound human when it beats. The heart monitor is going off constantly, and the nature of the regurgitation means that it is not adequately pumping blood efficiently. As you might remember from science, or just generally being alive, oxygen is pretty important to every basic facet of life and my man here is on the struggle bus with a one way stop to the hot mess express. So being that I am a long time Lucas fan, I am asking for those with heart or purse strings that feel a little open to some good karmic work to step in and help this amazing family who have suddenly had their orbit take a hard stop in the freeway of life with a million things bombarding them. Let them enjoy their time together without stress about the next 6 months while William is recovering and cannot work. Eleanor, Tyler and Ryn are old enough to know that their dad is essentially dying at the moment. Be the person who steps in and says, that is enough for you now, let me take one thing off your plate.
