Hello,

My name is Nicole Baans and I am a close family friend of Karen Lynch, Mike Shaw and their children.

On Sunday 20th August, 2023 we received the devastating news that their son William unexpectedly passed away in his sleep at just 14 years of age.

No parent should ever have to endure the loss of a child. The grief alone is terrible, but the added stress of financial strain just adds to the pain. Karen will be unable to work for a while as she deals with her grief.

I am reaching out to those who knew and loved William and his family in the hope that we can band together to ease the financial burden.

All money raised will go directly to William's family to help with their loss of income, any funeral expenses and/or support services they may require to help them cope with their loss.
