Sweet William's Garden Bench

Update: The outpouring of love and support for the Applegate family is awe inspiring. We have been able to work with the Denver Botanic Gardens to begin the process for securing a bench, will update you all as we know more information. It generally takes a few months for the bench to be established in the park (maybe a little longer during the winter months). In the coming weeks, Rob and Michelle will be working with their chosen groups to determine the best way to share William's memorial fund.
The family has received so many beautiful notes and messages from all of you and will be communicating with you all as time allows, know that each and every one of you is very much appreciated.
The public service for William will be at the University Park United Methodist Church at 3:30 on Sunday the 6th followed by a reception celebration at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Please join us.

Family and friends are saddened and heartbroken sweet baby William passed away all too soon. We all are truly humbled and thankful for all of the support and love that has been shown.
His family would like to share his life with others by placing a bench at one of their favorite places, the Denver Botanic Gardens. The bench will be a place of gathering and remembrance, rest and peace, and will forever be a home where we can remember their sweet baby.
Your support thru a donation will be used toward dedicating a bench in a thoughtful resting place in the garden for reflecting and remembering. A bronze plaque will be inscribed with a special message on the backrest of the bench. We will let you know where the bench will be located so you may visit it when you are in the gardens.
Any additional funds will be split between Children's Hospital, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, Think 360 Arts and the Colorado Ballet.
