Willis Gupton's Family Needs Your Help to Save Their Home!
Donation protected
(Willis passed April 16, which leaves the family with no income)
All you have to do is say my brother-in-law's name ... Willis Gupton. Everyone knows him, everyone loves him. He's our beloved Wilco! People flocked to events at Ocracoke and Emerald Isle, as well as local shows and events (like MaudeFest), where he played his guitar and sang country music ... including the songs he personally wrote. He went to Nashville and cut an album ... Bringin' Home the Bacon ... which many of you own. He's been asked to sing with various bands, perform at charities, birthday parties, weddings, at the local Senior Center, for the Moose Lodge, and church functions. There have been many times that he played as a donation to help raise money for various causes.
NOW ... Willis and his family need your help. Four years ago, Willis was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. He initially went through surgery, harsh chemo and radiation treatments, and many medical appointments, to put the cancer into remission. During that time, he gave all glory and praise to his Lord and Savior, and gave testimony of God's goodness and grace. Unfortunately, the cancer has returned throughout his body, and even though he has bravely fought it, the treatments are having little affect ... his body is no longer able to fight. But, through it all, he still gives God the glory and knows that God is in control.
Over the past 4 years, the medical bills, treatment costs, and medicines have put an unbearable financial burden on him and his family. Willis' health will no longer allow him to travel or sing, and they have been unable to meet these financial mountains. They have put everything they have into getting him well, and now he and his family are facing the loss of their home and vehicles in addition to the insurmountable medical bills.
Willis has given of himself to help others for most of his life ... will you help him in his time of need? If you can't donate, please share, share, share this, and pray for Willis and his family.
Here's a song he wrote:
"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us."
