Life Altering Stem Cell Therapy

In the very early morning hours, November 9th 2016 a misstep
from the top of my stairs at home sent me plunging down head first down 5 steps of stairs to the first landing, sending my head through the wall. Coming to, screaming for my wife not being able to move. I couldnt. I recall the moments in the hospital that early morning being asked to move my lower limbs. I could not.
I was paralyzed from the chest down due to fractures in two of my neck vertebrae, causing spinal damage and swelling. That was combined with facial fractures, a torn left rotator cuff and a severe concussion.
The 5 hour surgery to fix me up involved fusing 4 of my neck vertebrae (C2-C6) using 8 screws and 2 titanium plates. Procedure known as a cervical laminectomy.
Awakening in the recovery room, I was asked by my life-saving neurosurgeon Dr. Ghostine, to move my feet. I could. With a smile from him he replied to me…”That’s step one my friend”.
Time to recover. Starting off at Loma Linda Acute Rehabilitation Hospital. Everything was starting from scratch. Unable to stand under my own power. Learning everything. how to hold a remote. how to clean myself. Pain accompanying every movement. A very easy way for one to sink in to ones sorrows and lose hope.
With a team of encouraging physical therapists guided
me along, my best friend and wife there along my side,
cheering me on. Everything became a new way of learning how to adapt. The key for me was holding on to hope.
Finally 6 months in the hospital, I came home.
9 months’ time, I decided now was the time was right to return to work. Now with the aid of a walker. Now able to look past with the still constant pain and discomfort of nerve damage. When they say it could be worse… I agree. It could.
Now living every day in Pain. I cope, with it. Stay positive. Stay clear.
I met Dr. Badday. (http://www.drhasanbaddaymd.com/) a man who looks at alternatives to opiods. Ways to manage pain. He, being a strong supporter of new technologies, recommended stem cell therapy.
Donated Umbilical stem cells, NOT anything un-ethical.
With the severe damage done to my nervous system, he feels this is a way to regenerate and repair the damage caused by my accident. The drawback, it's not covered by insurance. Hence why I am here asking for help. Asking for your generosity in helping me receive this LIFE ALTERING procedure. This procedure , I am hoping will allow me to repair the damage...and get my life back.
Your generosity would help me get back to living without pain, living my life as it once way. In fact, better. now having a new look on life...and an appreciation for the things we take for granted. This is what the Gofundme is for. A chance to be without constant pain.
Thank You.
