Willow farm and Manchester Boarding Kennels flooding
Donation protected
Overnight we were hit with the flood gates being opened onto the majority of farm land surrounding Urmston. Multiple farms have been evacuated and everyone has pulled together to make what we can safe in hope that the water level starts to drop overnight. Manchester boarding kennels located on willow farm has been completely evacuated and all horses safe. I would like to take a minute to thank everyone for their support and pulling together so quickly.
As a result of this there has been major damage caused and in some cases loss of their beloved animals in the floods. I have a few horses on the livery at the farm and was on scene at the time of flooding helping make safe for the animals so I know first hand the major effect this has had on all of us.
The funds are being raised for the 2 businesses on the premises - Willow farm stables and Manchester boarding kennels that’s were both affected badly in the flooding. The floods have wiped out the majority or horse bedding feed and hay worth thousands of pound so 50% of money raised will go to the farm to replace the food and bedding source all lost and any additional farm equipment replacements such as fencing. The other 50% is going to be given to the kennels to help replace dog food, dog bedding and equipment.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help up start rebuilding what we have lost.
