Willow Haven Senior Homes State Supreme Court Defense.

Dear Friends,
We are reaching out to you today to seek your support for a cause that is close to our hearts. We are fighting a legal battle to uphold the rights of persons with disabilities to live in group homes in residential neighborhoods. These homes provide a nurturing environment for individuals, particularly the elderly and those suffering from Alzheimer's and other dementias, who do not require full-time medical care.
Unfortunately, our efforts have been met with resistance from neighbors who have used the courts to prevent our home from being established. Despite the protections provided by the Fair Housing Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, a recent Court of Appeals decision has put the future of these homes in jeopardy.
We believe that this decision is not only wrong but also has far-reaching, negative implications for all group homes in Indiana and potentially used by other state courts as case law. We are now requesting a transfer to the Indiana State Supreme Court for this decision, but we need your help. Legal battles are costly, and we are seeking funds to cover our legal fees.
Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in our fight to ensure that persons with disabilities have the right to live in the residence of their choice. Please consider donating to our cause and sharing our campaign with your network. Together, we can make a difference.
The funds are to help off set legal fees already incurred and any future legal fees that will be paid to see this through to the end.
Thank you for your support.
