Willow & Pfingsten Baristas Solidarity Fund

Donation protected
In October, the baristas at the Starbucks in Glenview at Willow & Pfingsten officially made public our intent to unionize. On December 6, we voted unanimously to make that vision of a better workplace a reality!
It was a scary and tumultuous time, transitioning store managers and heading into the holiday season--the busiest time our stores face all year. We made it this far only through the overwhelming love and support we received from the local community and fellow unions in the area. To experience solidarity in action was so much more meaningful than we could ever put into words. <3
As we go forward, we once again need to ask for your support and your solidarity. We find ourselves now fighting to bargain our first contract with Starbucks' management, who have yet to bargain in good faith. In the meantime, this fund will benefit baristas that are barely getting by due to massive retaliatory labor cuts by Starbucks to dissuade unionization efforts. Our coworkers should not go without groceries, medical care, and other necessities just because they exercise their right to organize. 100% of the profits from this fundraiser go directly to the partners at our store.
We are committed and enthused to continue to fight for the rights of all workers, from Willow & Pfingsten to our allies across Chicago and across the country.
Donate if you can and join our fight today, and there's no telling how far we'll go!
