Willow Rose Yon's Family

The beloved Willow Rose Yon, who passed away on March 27th, 2022, was a wonderful daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, and friend. Her sudden death from a tragic car accident has shocked our community and everyone who knew her. She leaves behind her loving family, Paul, Denise, Gage, and Ava Yon.

Willow had many talents and gifts. She was a third-year Kendall Creative Art and Design student in Grand Rapids. She was doing very well in school and recently had six interviews with internships that she was confident in hearing back from. KCAD picked her to design an ultraviolet light for sanitation of surgery rooms for hospitals. Industrial design was her passion and niche. She enjoyed 4-H and danced at Maria’s School of Dance for many years. She rooted for the underdog and wanted to help everyone before herself. Willow loved nature and animals; her pet dog and cat brought her joy. She had the ability to be serious and funny at the right times. Even though Willow was confident and independent, she would do anything for her family. All of her friends have talked about her light being so strong!

We are all devastated by the loss of our beautiful Willow Rose. I ask for donations to help her family cover their upcoming expenses and safeguard Willow’s memory by ensuring their VHS tapes and photos are adequately preserved. These memories will bring comfort to the family for years to come.
