Will's Heart Surgery and Recovery Fund

Will Whittle, a proud and loving father of five, has been struggling with severe, life-threatening medical issues, medical bills, and loss of income from not being able to work for the past couple of months and the foreseeable future as he has more surgeries planned.
Will caught Shingles, which turned to sepsis while forced to work through it by his employer, a residential property firm where he works in maintenance. On June 4th, Will went into a local hospital in Nashville with severe fatigue and a very high fever, could barely walk and was diagnosed with sepsis and a staph infection that had spread to his heart and was 'shredding' it according to his cardiologist.
He was transferred to a larger hospital where he underwent emergency open heart surgery on June 7th. The surgeon extracted 4.5 Liters of fluid from his heart/lungs during the surgery.
Still in the hospital, a week later doctors found fluid building up again around his heart. He had a pericardial window performed to drain the fluid through a chest tube on June 15.
He was finally discharged from the hospital on June 26 and sent home with an IV and antibiotics to be administered over the next few weeks. On July 16, after Will had a few days of severe fatigue and trouble breathing, he was sent back to the emergency room by his surgeon for a stat ECHO and was admitted for an unknown infection. On July 18, Will's liver and kidney began going into early-stage failure and he was transferred back to a large hospital in Nashville where more tests were performed. His prognosis was determined that he will need both valves, aortic and mitral, in his heart replaced and a possible aortic vessel replacement, with a second open heart surgery scheduled for Thursday, July 27
We have set up this GoFundMe to support the Whittle Family's loss of income from Will, his wife Kari, and daughter Makaley not being able to work through his surgeries, recovery, and to cover ongoing medical expenses.
