Wilma Cheryl Mayer

My name is Raymond J Mayer, and I, on behalf of my family are raising money for our mother's service and final expenses. Here's why: The morning after my engagement, Noel and Trinity(my daughters) came to our hotel room and asked that I call my sister, Desi right away. I did. I was then informed my mother, Wilma Mayer awoke earlier that day coughing and complaining she was unable to breath. 4 - 5 mins of this, and then she went unconscious with a small cardiac arrest. Her other half began perform CPR and called 911. Medics arrived 14mins later and took over. Once at the hospital, the Dr's found her lungs had pneumonia in both, and she experienced a couple more cardiac arrests. She was in a coma. She remained in a coma. The Dr's tried the arctic cooling method to try and stimulate a brain response to no avail. Today, collectively, as my mother always expressed we do, we decided to stop life support. My mother passed at 2:40 pm Texas time. For those of you that were in the know, thank you for being there the best each of you could be! For those that couldn't be there or are just now being notified via this post or other posts, I am very sorry, and I love you so much! We have been doing our best to notify each of you closest to our mom, but our emotions are all over the place. Please understand.

Dearest Mother, the single most impactful thing you've ever said to me, and I will hold it to the very end of my life is, "listen! You are MY son, and you can do ANYTHING you set your mind to." Thank you for giving us all the gift of life and love. Until we see you again, we love you so very much, and we will all see you later! Hopefully much later!
