Baby Wilson Adoption Fundraiser

First, thanks to so many people for so generously supporting us through this journey.

We are adopting our amazing little girl through Bethany's domestic infant adoption program. Adoption has always been a part of our story. Even when we were just dating, God laid on our hearts a desire to adopt a child. Little did we know He was laying the foundation for His will for our lives as parents!

Our first pregnancy occurred in  2011. When it ended in miscarriage, we thought back to our desire to adopt. The very next month,  we learned through our church family about a precious 7 year old named Makinzy. Through an independent adoption, Makinzy became ours on November 9, 2011.  Over the next 4 years, we continued to get pregnant and suffer miscarriages for no known reasons despite the best medical care and the best specialists. We lost another son, our 6th miscarriage, in October 2015. Our next steps became  to purse another adoption in 2016. After waiting nearly a year to be picked by a birth family, we were chosen in May 2017. Baby Mira was born June 20, 2017, and has a serious congenital heart defect that requires three life saving open heart surgeries. Her condition is called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, meaning she was born with a severely underdeveloped heart. The hospital stays can range from weeks to months. She has a long battle ahead, but has already proven herself to be a fighter! 
 
It will cost $25,000 - $30,000 to bring home Baby Mira, and that's just the cost of her adoption, not her medical care.   We believe that adoption reflects the gospel and that all Christians are called to consider, pray for, and support adoption.  We thank you from the bottom of our heart for your financial support and for your prayers for our family.
