Help Wilson Continue the Battle

Many of us are raised to be warriors. We grow strong, we fight, we carry on. We believe our fight is harder than anyone else's. And often, victory is on our side. We stand proudly, thinking nothing or no one can battle us. We believe we are invincible.
But often than what we think, there are people fighting battles worse than ours. Battles that test our strength and our faith. Let me share with you the story about the bravest warrior I know: my friend Wilson.
Wilson was diagnosed with cancer of the throat and tongue back in the summer of 2015. Thanks to the support of many friends and other donors, not only was Wilson able to quickly undergo treatment and fight the battle with cancer; the funds raised helped him pay for his medical expenses, which ensured a prompt and suprinsingly quick recovery. We had won the batlle. So we thought.
Two weeks ago I received a text from Wilson. The doctor found a tumor in his brain. Just when we were getting ready to celebrate our victory and cancer-free Christmas season, all hell broke lose. AGAIN. I could only comfort my friend with tears, because, truth is, I thought our warrior was invincible. I still believe he is.
Wilson has began his second battle with cancer. As meetings with new doctors, diagnoses, and treatments are discussed, he worries. About how to afford all of this. No one should have to worry about that. He needs to concentrate on the fight.
His expenses every month include $781 of Cobra Insurance, since he is unemployed. Weekly co-pays of $250, that secure his doctors's visits and appointments. We need to raise an additional $12,372, which will help him focus for a year on fighting the second battle, and getting better. This time for good.
So I ask you to please help my friend fight. If you want to gift this Christmas, give to him. It is a present that will save a life, and will help him fight. This can happen to any of us, at any moment in time. I thank you for anything you can do. It will mean the universe to him, and to me.
