Wilson’s chemotherapy
Donation protected
** EDIT ** 28/06/2023, Thank you all so much for your support I have temporarily paused the accepting of donations, Wilson is very poorly and I need to listen to him. I am taking him to the vet later today to discuss options.
I know on here you can read too many devastating stories and perhaps it doesn't feel quite right to do this, but I need to do what is best for my boy. It's so hard to write this, it's making this feel so real. And I promise you the last thing I want is for this to be real.
Today we received the devastating news I hoped I would never hear. My sweet Labrador, Wilson has been diagnosed with lymphoma. The lymphoma is spreading fast and really taking its toll on him. He's only just turned 6 (24/6/23), I should have much longer with him, years with him. He is my rock, my best friend and the most gentle boy with my toddler. I want to have the most amount of time possible to make the rest of his life as good and as comfortable as I possibly can.
The chemo he needs is not going to be covered fully by my insurance. Having already spent £3000 of his insurance money on tests and medicines to keep him comfortable. We start chemo this week, but to have the full course of chemo I will be about £3,000 short. As well as the change in diet he now has to have as his appetite has been greatly affected and he has to consume a wide variety of foods to try and entice him.
I set this page up in the hope that you might donate whatever you can, however big or small. It would be so appreciated to getting my boy the treatment he deserves.
Any money left over will go straight to a pet charity.
Thank you for reading this.
