Wilson’s Medical Cost

Update 5/25/23:

If love could’ve saved him, he would’ve lived forever. Wilson went into cardiac arrest this morning, and passed away. He fought so hard well before I even knew him. My heart will never be the same, but I am so grateful for the love and life that we shared. ❤️

My heart has never been so broken but I am so beyond grateful to you all for your generosity and kind words.

I promised my sweet Willy that I’d save another dog for him, and that’s exactly my plan. I’ll just wait until he sends me them.

Until then, I’m finding peace in knowing you all could see and feel our love across this country. Thank you.

If you want to help ease the burden of his final surgery or cremation, that’d mean the world. More then anything hug those you love for me, get outside and feel the peace of the outdoors and think of my guy.

I never thought I’d be in this position, but here I am. After months of working with a specialist to treat wilsons protein losing enteropathy, we have finally reached the road where surgery is our only option. I noticed last evening that he was acting off after an overnight stay in the ER, upon return to the vet today they confirmed that our next step would be surgery to hopefully treat his infection, and what is causing him pain. I never thought I’d be in a position asking for money, or assistance, but anything you’re willing to give would mean the world to us.
