Win the Heptathlon at the 2028 Olympics in LA

Without resilience, there is no success. Heptathlon is one of the ultimate athletic goals for athletes, and, as a result, is possibly the hardest to succeed at, testing every part of the body. Jessica Ennis, Denise Lewis and Kelly Sotherton are just some of my heroes.
So, what a year it’s been - moving up from local to national competition, and believe me, it truly has made a world of difference. Whilst maintaining my County long jump title for the past five years, I now have new personal bests in six out of the seven events. I am ranked in the top ten in the UK for high jump at U23 level, and though I’m still only 19, I placed second in England for the National Pentathlon in my category, competing against athletes four years my senior. Last weekend I placed sixth in the EA Senior Combined Events Championships in Manchester in the U23 category.
To date, funding has come from Canterbury Rugby Club supporters and a small group of sponsors which has enabled coaching, physio (although I can assure you that my body IS working well with the demands put on it at the moment), travel and so much more. I am so, so grateful for all of your support.
It has always been an issue that I can only work between competitions and training in trying to reach my goal of becoming World Champion - Ted in the Saucy Flo’s kitchen has helped me out in every possible way, giving unbelievable flexibility with shifts to fit in with my six day - week training – though, he says, ONLY in return for free tickets to the 2028 Olympics when I get there!
And believe me, I am still on that path to be a World Champion heptathlete. My progress is accelerating and I WILL get there. I am a girl with a passion that means more than a dream, and I am more driven than ever.
I am reliant on help to get me there. The physical demands moving forward are entirely down to myself, and my training hours are long and arduous (though I love it nevertheless). But, the financial burden put on young athletes is becoming harder the further I move up the rankings. Sponsorship is vital. So, if you can help with any size sponsorship I will be truly grateful. You do not realise just how much it is appreciated. I promise I will not let you down.
