Wind Tiki Employee Support Fund

As many of you know, our hometown of Webster had a significant loss early in the morning of March 18, 2022 when the Wind Tiki Restaurant on Thompson Road burned down in a three-alarm fire. While several generations of Webster area residents have countless memories of dining, sharing drinks and celebrating at Wind Tiki, many of these memories were made possible by the hostesses, bar tenders, waitstaff and other employees who shared in their celebrations and life events.  Let’s of course not forget the cooks who provided such delectable food. Sadly, these special individuals are now out of work, some after spending over 30 years with Wind Tiki.

There have been suggestions by numerous people to start a GoFundMe for the employees of Wind Tiki. With this in mind, please join the Becker Family who owned the property, along with Andy and Kim who owned the Wind Tiki business, in donating to this worthy cause in appreciation of the employees' many years of service to the customers of Wind Tiki and the Webster community overall.  The Becker Family is initiating this campaign with a donation of $10,000.  All proceeds will be divided solely among the employees of Wind Tiki who are now out of work.  Please share this page as you see fit with your friends and family.
