Window tint class to add services to my business.

My name is Brandon.

Approximately three and a half years ago my fiancé and I decided to make a change in life for an over all better living situation. We both had great jobs, we’re comfortable yet not happy. This was due to the area we lived and jobs we had. We decided to move north where our outdoor adventures didn’t have to wait until the next weekend. Although we took time making the decision, taking steps to ensure it was a quality move for us and being prepared for what may get tossed at us, we never expected what would have actually come.

I had a job working 40+ hours a week, it paid the bills but for some extra spending cash I decided to start a side gig detailing vehicles. At this time I loved to take care of my own and felt many others would see that passion and would want the same for their vehicles.

Three years later I now own a business “B2 Detailing”. It has been one heck of a learning curve as we never expected to own a business and don’t have business in my background. In this short time period I have gained a huge following on my business page, continuously bring in more services, critique my services and built a trustworthy name in my community. I often work with other business and organizations for advertisement, gift package giveaways, sponsorships with youth sports/activities and so much more! Needless to say I truly love my job and who I have become as a person and partner for my fiancé. Due to business and financial reasons my fiancé and I have decided to wait until 2025 to get married. This gives us time to set up, save up and make it the best day ever for each of us.

So let’s get to the main point here. I have struggled, and I mean STRUGGLED to make a go fund me or ask for help financially for this business. Although you just read that I often donate to others, I struggle to ask for it myself.

My purpose and goal for this go fund me is to go to one of the highest rated window tint classes in the United States. Although I have some money saved, this trip/class will run about $4000 after class fees, travel and a place to stay. Yes, I left eating out. I’d be happy eating PB&J everyday and could care less to eat out or visit the city (Miami Florida). My focus is to learn a skill that will pay my bills, bring this service back to my community (closest tinter is a hour away) to continue growing and helping out those that help me build my business.

the class is $1,950, if I booked a flight today then it would be just under $400 for round trip, the hotel closest to the school (avoiding taxis and renting a car) would be around $750-800 for my week stay.

As you can see even this $4,000 goal doesn’t cover everything. However what it does cover is a quality education learning a trade that will help keep business active and attentive.

The most unfortunate part draws back to me asking for help. This class starts February 10th and I’m just now asking for help to go.

With any help on this go fund me I will at minimal use this money to find any class to give me any experience. I fear of going to a class that doesn’t fulfill my confidence with this service but desperately wanting to learn. Maybe I’m just dead set on this five day class and all they have to offer or maybe I find a cheaper class possibly closer to me that can still provide quality training.

Fact of the matter is I just want to better myself. This isn’t a go fund me to buy a new truck or help fund my wedding. This is a go fund me to help me get the training I need to make more money, build my business and provide for my community.
