Wingates Band Christmas Appeal 2020
Wingates Band have teamed up with Age UK Bolton to support the amazing work they do in our community and beyond and to raise some much-needed funds for the band*.
Prior to the pandemic, there were over 4600 older people in Bolton who were chronically lonely – this number has increased dramatically because of the impact of COVID-19.
Age UK Bolton have worked throughout the pandemic supporting older people in their homes - offering practical and emotional support, helping with shopping, making regular welfare and befriending calls, delivering craft sets and so much more. They are currently delivering Christmas stockings to help bring some festive cheer to older people in Bolton.
