Winnebago Two-Spirit PRIDE Week

Winnebago Two-Spirit announces our Blessed by the Moon PRIDE Week! This PRIDE week, to be held June 17-June 21, 2024, will be dedicated to educating and celebrating our sacred identities as LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit people. This groundbreaking week will feature cultural events such as a hand game tournament and a nature walk identifying medicinal plants. There will also be a movie and water balloon fight for the kids. The week ends with our 2nd ever “Twilight” drag show on Winnebago tribal lands.

But we need your help to make this all possible! We are in need of funds to rent building space for activities, for prizes for the tournaments, to pay the DJ for the drag show, spotlight rental, t-shirts for decorating, honorarium for the drag queens, and PRIDE goodies.

Winnebago Two-Spirit is a Native-led grassroots nonprofit based on the Winnebago Reservation in Nebraska. Winnebago Two-Spirit’s mission is to host events to bring awareness and create a supportive space for Two-Spirit and LGBTQ+ people within our tribal community and beyond.
