Hey guys my name is Marie. Those of you know me know it’s hard for me to ask for help and if I ever do it’s because I really need it and can’t do it alone. My nephew Win who’s 11 was recently diagnosed with a very rare type of childhood cancer known as a rhabdomyosarcoma . It is an extremely aggressive and rare type of cancer. He is the sweetest boy with the purest heart and doesn’t even know what is happening to him. We are doing everything in our power to make sure he beats this unfortunate and shattering diagnosis. There are many treatment options that our oncology team recommends but of course are not covered by insurance. Immunotherapy that looks and targets his dna specific to his tumors. Stem cell treatment to reduce blood transfusions . The list goes on. His parents are facing financial difficulties in keeping their home and bills paid and simple things like gas and electricity are being threatened to be turned off. Any and all funds are going to travel expenses, hospital fees, alternative treatments and therapy’s his parents cost to keep the home win loves, his favorite foods nutritious meals to keep his little body strong through all of this, hotel stays when he is getting outpatient therapy, Roblox cards to keep him distracted during painful and invasive treatments etc. Win is the strongest human I know he takes every needle poke, side affect from chemo, and all the pain that comes with this diagnosis like a champ. The tear flow and his tiny body limp and defeated recovers every time and he puts on a brave face for the next battle. I love this little boy more than anything in this whole world.
