FULLY FUNDED - WINSTON - help with medical bills

Hello everyone!

Tesa's Rescue is raising funds to hopefully cover Winston's medical bills.

People from the local community began messaging, tagging, emailing us alerting our team about a tragedy that took place recently - a speeding van caused a RTA, the incident left the dog screaming, bleeding from wounds to his leg, and in his panic he got tangled in his lead which further intensified the whole traumatic event. A visit to the vet stabilized the dog and X-rays revealed that, aside from the horrible wounds, poor Winston also sustained a dislocation to his leg.

Winston's loving owners used up all the money they had saved up to cover his medical treatment so far (roughly £1200) - the vet suggested that bandaging + wound cleaning + pain killers under sedation repeated a few times is the best way to approach the situation, and considering Winston's young age (not even 2 years old), the vet is confident the dislocation should heal with a splint. However - in the sad situation that the dislocation does not improve, the option of corrective surgery estimated to cost £3000 is available. We will keep everything crossed that this won't be the case and little Winston can recover in no time. ❤️

We have created this fundraiser in support of Winston's vet bills - we already deposited £300 in his vet account, but going forward we would like to raise £1200 which would cover a few more bandage changes and everything that each one entails. If it comes to it, we'll be looking to fundraise the cost of the corrective surgery too.
