Winston's bone marrow transplant procedure
Donation protected
In February 2023 Winston was diagnosed with B cell lymphoma. After a round of chemotherapy, he went into remission, however, his immune system didn't bounce back as expected and we had to put future chemo on hold while he recovered. Winston needs a bone marrow stem cell transplantation (BMT), and his sister Rhea is an allogenic match for the procedure. This involves a trip to Washington state for the duo and several weeks of recovery. This is a costly procedure to pay for out of pocket at an estimated $55,000. Any amount of assistance is a blessing because we will do anything to get our Winston boy healthy again. Thank you for reading our story and hope you consider helping our cause.
A little about Winston:
Winston is a 9 year old English Golden Retriever who lives at home with his full sister Rhea (10). He has enjoyed becoming a 'big bro' to human siblings Jack and Maya, mostly due to the unending snacks they drop on the floor. Winston is the life of the party and enjoys swimming, digging, playing with the neighbor dogs, getting good pets, and lap cuddles. He has never met a stranger, blows bubbles in his water dish when he's feeling bored, and isn't afraid to do a little counter surfing.
