Winter Donation for Atlanta Homeless friends

Dear friends

For the last five years, Food4lives.org have raised a winter donation drive for sleeping bags, tents, blankets and winter items. We have provided more than 500+ warm sleeping bags/tents to our homeless friends in Atlanta and Athens during harsh winters. Thanks to generous donors like you all, we have kept our less privileged friends warm and safe during cold winters.

This year, we aim to raise $3000 to buy more tents, sleeping bags, blankets, socks and other winter items for Atlanta, GA, Athens GA and Charlotte, NC. You can donate to this gofund or directly donate a sleeping bag/tent from Walmart or Academy to our Food4lives location at 1122 Old Chattahoochee Ave NW, Atlanta 30318.

Food4Lives Goal:

We serve the homeless in 3 simple ways: Annadanam (Feeding the homeless for free), Vastradanam (Providing the homeless basic physical needs and shelter) and Vidyadanam (Educating the homeless for free). A key difference is doing it with heart - towards both the homeless and the volunteers, to recognize the humanness in each of us.
