Winter Edition Fundraise: CLOSED

Due to Covid-19, your local, satirical and community driven magazine the Hampstead Village Voice continues to offer struggling businesses hugely discounted advertising rates. Our advertising revenue is expected to be about 50% of it's usual level for the next edition. So if we are to keep going, we'll need some extra help and are asking for support from our readers.
As a small incentive, every fifth Hampstead based Go-Fund-Me contributor (over £10) will receive a Hampstead Village Voice t-shirt as modelled by Elisa below. Sorry, local residents only: we're not posting them out but will deliver locally!
The winter edition — came out on 15/01/21 is important because it focuses on Camden Council's woeful refuse infrastructure — if one can call a load of plastic bags thrown all over the place all day an infrastructure.
Hampstead High Street, Heath Street, Flask Walk, Rosslyn Hill, Holly Hill, New End and Finchley Road are now permanently strewn with split rubbish bags. It's unacceptable. It's disgusting. It's unhealthy and something has to change.
So the winter edition highlights what's wrong and where, and what ought to be done about it. Sometimes the only way to get action out of our local authority is to embarrass them into taking it.
There's also a free PLEASE DON'T USE A LEAF BLOWER poster on the inside back page!
We are, of course, continuing our campaign to remove the Hampstead Village Business Improvement District (BID) which extorts funds from struggling local businesses, charities, two state schools and an NHS surgery. And, by the way, has done nothing to solve our commercial refuse crisis. There will be a ballot in 2021 and we need to get as many Hampstead businesses onside as possible to vote the blasted thing out.
But on the whole, the winter edition is mainly a load of rubbish!
Thank you for your support and viva Hampstonia!
