Winter Feeding of Mule Deer

The Winter of 2016-2017 has been one of extreme cold tempertures and snow depths.  Mule Deer are struggling to find food.  The Mule Deer Foundation working closely with State Wildlife Agencies began feeding deer in Northern Utah.  We want to help raise funds to also help in Idaho and Colorado where they are feeding mule deer and elk and may need to expand the program to other areas.  100% of all donations will go to purchase a special feed pellet formulated especially for mule deer.  MDF volunteers and state agency personnel are putting out feed daily and will continue feeding until temperatures moderate and snow depths decline.  Feeding in other states may be necessary if winter persists.  Mule Deer are most vulnerable to starvation from January until the end of March.  Please help and donate today as time is running out to help.
