Winter Fundraiser for Afghanistan

Asalaamalaykum,

With the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan, millions of Afghans are at risk of starvation. Afghanistan is already one of the most impoverished nations in the world and for this reason, my family and I are hoping to collect funds in order to purchase food and other necessities to donate to families in need in our home village in Logar, Baghlan, and Kabul. These necessities will include oil, flour, and rice. Depending on the needs of particular villages, we may also provide funding for much-needed wells and water pumps. Over the past three years, we've organized four successful fundraisers that have raised thousands of dollars and benefitted thousands of impoverished Afghans. This year, inshaAllah, we're hoping to build upon that past success. We are committed to being one hundred percent transparent about where exactly the donations will go and who will benefit from the funds. Photographs and videos will be provided in order to ensure that the donations will be going to those in dire need of assistance. In the past, through previous fundraisers, we've been able to assist orphans, widows, and many households without a single breadwinner.
