Winter Storms Destroyed Their Home

Hello All! Hope all is well.

My name is Kelsie, and on the evening of January 10th I witnessed my parents Alison & TJ Brady’s hard work and dreams literally crumble right in front of me.

At 6:45 pm. My son came running to me saying he heard a “big bang” in the house, so we took our flashlights and went to look at what was happening inside. It seems as if the ceiling cross bars were starting to go, so we then panicked and tried to figure out a solution to stop any more from going. At 7:30 pm the house completely came down. The screams and devastation in my mother’s face broke my heart, she had been waiting for her “dream home” forever! The disappointment and disbelief in my Step dad’s face after the home that they have paid completely out of pocket for and been working on from the ground up for 2 years, destroyed. It happened so fast!

The severe winter storms spreading over the states affected us pretty bad. Around 12-13 inches of snow.

The total that they spent out of pocket so far was roughly $205,000. And the only thing salvageable is the underground piping, everything else is destroyed.

I am asking for help, anything will help. To try and start the process of building up their house again!
