Winter Walk with the Mayor and Ruby's

PLACE: Astbury Mere Country Park, Congleton

Please support the Mayor and Ruby's for our Winter Walk around Astbury Mere to raise much-needed funds for Ruby's.

We are be inviting children and their families to get out of the house on a winter's day and enjoy some fresh air and fun activities together with friends and family, with plenty of support from Ruby's staff and volunteers.

As well as the walk, there will be activities in the Astbury Mere visitor centre and Ruby's sensory bus will be there. Disabled parking will be provided.

Lunch will be available to purchase at Ruby's after the event, and the soft play will be open. Address: Meridian House, Roe Street, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 1PG.

More information about Ruby's: Ruby’s is an award winning charity supporting children and young people aged 0-18 years old with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families and carers. We provide high-quality facilities onsite at our centre in Congleton and outreach sessions at partner venues and on board our mobile sensory bus. We offer person-centred support, by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, who are equipped with a wide range of knowledge, expertise and lived experience. We offer coordinated support and action to improve the quality of life and wellbeing to individuals and groups in with some of the most vulnerable and complex needs.
